Except for the cases described in Sections V and VI, we do not transfer personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area.

V. Use of Cookies
Produktionsallianz Campus uses so-called “cookies” on the Website, i.e. small text files that are stored on your hard drive when you access the services. Cookies contain information relating to the specific device being used. However, this does not mean that we thereby obtain direct knowledge of your identity.

We use cookies, on the one hand, to make navigation and use of our Website as user-friendly as possible. We need cookies to identify and authenticate you for the entire duration of your visit after you have successfully logged in. These cookies are automatically deleted from your hard drive at the end of the browser session (session cookies).

In addition, we use cookies that remain on your hard drive beyond the browser session for a specified period of time (persistent cookies). These cookies make it easier for you to use our Website and our services and products by, for example, storing certain entries and settings so that you do not have to enter them repeatedly.

Cookies also enable us to statistically analyse the use of our Website, to optimise our services and to make our websites and services more personalised for you (see also Section VI of this Privacy Policy). Persistent cookies are stored on your hard drive and deleted by your browser after a predefined period of time, which may vary depending on the cookie.

The cookies may also be cookies from third-party providers (“third-party cookies”).

The data processed through cookies is necessary for the purposes described above to safeguard our legitimate interests and those of third parties pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

You can prevent the use of cookies at any time with effect for the future by deleting cookies and refusing the acceptance of cookies in your browser settings. You can also configure your browser to notify you when cookies are being set and to allow cookies only on a case-by-case basis, to reject cookies in certain cases or generally, and to automatically delete cookies when you close your browser.

In this case, you may not be able to use all of the benefits of our services. Instructions on how to make these changes can be found at: http://www.allaboutcookies.org/manage-cookies/

VI. Use of Analytics and Tracking Technologies
We use the analytics and tracking technologies and third-party technologies listed below on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR:

  • to conduct data analyses,
  • to statistically analyse the use of our Website and evaluate it for the purpose of optimising our services, and
  • to continuously improve and manage our services.

Google Analytics
For the purpose of designing our pages to meet users’ needs and continuously optimising them, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter “Google”).

In this context, pseudonymised usage profiles are created and cookies are used (see Section V). The information generated by the cookie about your use of this Website, such as:

  • browser type/version,
  • operating system,
  • referrer URL (the page previously visited),
  • hostname of the accessing computer (IP address), and
  • time of the server request,

is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

This information is used to evaluate the use of the Website, compile reports on Website activity and provide further services associated with Website and Internet usage for the purposes of market research and designing these websites according to users’ needs.

This information may also be transferred to third parties where this is required by law or where third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Your IP address will in no case be merged with other Google data. IP addresses are anonymised so that attribution is not possible (IP masking).

You can prevent the installation of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software. However, please note that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this Website to their full extent.

You can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the Website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Further information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics can be found in the Google Analytics Help Centre.

Google is certified under the Privacy Shield, meaning that, according to the European Commission’s implementing decision, an adequate level of data protection is ensured. The certificate can be viewed at: https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI

You may object to the use of your data for the purpose of direct marketing by us at any time with effect for the future and unsubscribe from the newsletter by contacting us by email at info@produktionsallianz-campus.de.

We reserve the right to send you, without your consent, email offers relating to products or services similar to those you have already purchased from us. No costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic rates will be incurred as a result.

The legal basis for processing your data for the purpose of sending newsletters is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a or lit. f GDPR.

VIII. Duration of Storage
We store your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the respective purpose of storage. We will subsequently delete your data unless, pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR, we are required to retain it for a longer period due to tax, commercial or other statutory retention or documentation obligations, or unless you have consented to longer storage pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.

IX. Your Rights
You have the right at any time, pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR, to obtain information about the personal data stored about you by us.

In particular, you may request information about the purposes of processing, the categories of personal data stored about you, the categories of recipients of this data, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, the source of your data if it was not collected from you, and the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and, where applicable, meaningful information about the details thereof.

Furthermore, pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR, you have the right to request the rectification of inaccurate data and, pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR, the erasure of personal data, unless processing is necessary for exercising the right to freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

You also have the right, pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR, to request the blocking or restriction of the processing of your personal data if you dispute the accuracy of the data, if the processing is unlawful but you oppose its erasure, if we no longer need the data but you require it for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or if you have objected to processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR.

Furthermore, pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request that it be transmitted to another controller.

Where your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right under Art. 21 GDPR to object at any time to the processing of your personal data where there are grounds relating to your particular situation, or where the objection concerns processing for the purposes of direct marketing.

In the latter case, you have an unconditional right to object, which we will implement without requiring you to state any particular circumstances.

If you believe that the processing of your personal data by us does not comply with applicable law, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR.

If the processing of your data is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

X. Data Security
During your visit to the Website, we use the widely used SSL procedure in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser.

In addition, we use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against manipulation, loss, destruction or unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
